Teams consist of experts in many disciplines such as organic and natural products chemistry, pharmacy and product formulation, process technology, chemical, microbiological and instrumental analysis, chemical engineering, Ayurveda and modern medicine to ensure the mastery of all facets of product development.

These collaborations range from medicinal plant propagation, agronomic protocol development, chemical studies, preclinical and toxicological studies, clinical trials etc. These collaborations enable the sharing of knowledge and experiences between academia and the industry for better outcomes.
Link Natural’s state of the art factory is situated amidst the lush green surroundings at Dompe, a village situated 30 km North-East to the city of Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. The factory compromises of production units that accommodate multiple processes: from storage of starting material, up to storage of finished goods, through unit operations such as extractions, filtration, distillation, blending and packaging. All vital stages of the manufacturing process are carried out in hygienic enclosures under GMP, using modern machinery and equipment, supported by standardized operating and quality assurance procedures.
Thus the resulting products are consistently in compliance with expected highest quality standards. The factory complex is in compliance with ISO9001 Quality Management System, together with HACCP and GMP certifications to ensure the safety and hygienic condition of it’s products. The facility is also in compliance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, which ensures an effective waste management programme, identification and mitigation of environmental impacts and establishment of environmental programmes.
The factory is designed to ensure that all starting materials are stored under controlled conditions, the herbal material are purified prior to use for production and no contaminations occur during the flow of material through processes to produce the final products. Identification and traceability is maintained throughout the manufacturing processes, together with monitoring and measuring mechanisms that helps to continually improve the product and process technologies. The manufacturing facility also include resting and recreational areas for staff, a medical care unit, libraries and an in-house restaurant, in order to provide the employees with high quality service which avail the employees to be healthy, with improved skills and knowledge and be efficient and productive.
